Loving Lord You called those that are lonely and burdened to come to You and to rest in You and to put the difficulties, hardships and responsibilities of life onto Your shoulders – for You have promised to gently lead us and to carry us in Your loving arms - and to be with us no matter who else may leave us or hurt us or betray us.

Lord I feel betrayed and so alone at this time. This betrayal of a dear friend has been like a shadow of death entering my heart. Lord, You know and understand how painful it is when a dear friend that you lived with and loved and trusted betrayed You… and I am in that position now. Comfort me in my sorrow I pray, and be with me throughout this difficult ordeal.

Thank You Lord that You are the One that binds up the broken-hearted and nurtures those that are alone and afraid. I know that Your grace is sufficient, even in this deep loneliness that I am facing - but give me the grace to face the future with You at my side, in Jesus name I pray,

Loving Lord I confess that there is much bitterness and anger in my heart and I come to You knowing that there is nothing that I can do to rid myself of this suffocating handicap in my life.

Search me within Lord and expose all that is not pleasing in Your sight and help me to find a closure to the deep rooted anger which seems to be rooted in a deep-seated unforgiveness.

Forgive me Lord for the pain for I know my anger has hurt so many people – yet I realise that my sin of anger is directed against You and it is against You alone that I have sinned in this way.

Also I pray that You will create in me a forgiving heart towards all those that have hurt me so deeply. And knowing that the Lord Jesus forgave me so many sins, I confess that I too should forgive others – just as God for Christ’s sake forgave me all my sin.

Thank You that in You I have victory against all my sin, including my anger – for in Christ the power of sin has been broken in my life because I trust in His name -

Thank You Lord –I trust You to take away all the anger within me and fill me with Your perfect peace- for You have promised to keep all in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on YOU

Dear God,

I ask for your guidance and your help
In finding my soul mate, my most perfect partner.
I seek a partner who enhances me by his/her very being...
Who brings more love, joy, peace and prosperity to my life...
Who I can love fully and who can fully receive my love...
Who loves, honors and cherishes me completely, and always.

May I know love when my true love comes to me.
May I let love in.
May I be willing to allow my soul to know the truth
May my heart be open and my head be clear.
May my life be ready to welcome True love.

I need You, Lord, now more than ever. This sadness in my heart craves to find that wonderful joy only You can give and that peace that passes all understanding. My heart cries out to You. Give me strength, oh gentle Savior. In Jesus’ name, love, joy, peace and happiness will follow me wherever I go and this sadness within me will be destroyed, Amen and Amen!

Dear God,
As I stumble through this life, help me to create more laughter than tears, dispense more cheer than gloom, spread more cheer than despair. Never let me become so indifferent, that I will fail to see the wonders in the eyes of a child, or the twinkle in the eyes of the aged. Never let me forget that my total effort is to cheer people, make them happy, and forget momentarily,
